Our Lance 2295 Travel Trailer has been such a great blessing. We have already enjoyed over 60 nights in it since we purchased it 9 months ago. Originally, we had a smaller trailer and we enjoyed it, but as we ventured places, we realized just how much we enjoyed taking our own little place-to-stay with us on our adventures. We knew that we needed a little more space and we needed something we could use anytime and anywhere. Hence, we began researching. When we came across the Lance Travel Trailers, we knew we would need to see one. So we sought out local dealers which were few and far between for us in the Middle TN area. We ended up in Paducah, KY at the same dealer chain where we had purchased our original travel trailer. They only had a few Lance Travel Trailers in stock. They did not have the 2295. However, we were able to look at the floor plans of the units they did have and pieced together in our minds the Lance 2295.
It was important to me personally that the slide could not block access when closed, so when we stopped along the way, we wouldn’t have to let the slide out. I wasn’t fond of 2 doors either. We travel with dogs and I didn’t want to have to watch two doors for the escape dogs when they took the notion. My husband loved the idea of the fire place unit. The bonus for both of us was the outside kitchen.
After evaluating the models and options we were able to see and looking at the floor plan of the 2295, we made our final decision and ordered the Lance 2295 Travel Trailer 2017 sight unseen. We were anxious to get it and begin our travels.
Advantages to the Lance 2295 Travel Trailer
We have found so many advantages that it is hard to narrow down to just a few.
Four seasons is so true
We can take it anywhere and be just as warm or cool. The central unit heater runs on the propane. We also have the beautiful fireplace that runs on electric to warm the place. There is insulation for the tanks and under-piping keeping things from freezing up on us. For cooling we have the air conditioner of course, but when we can’t use that we have the fantastic fan that will circulate and pull air through the unit for a nice breeze. Plenty of windows to open for a refreshing and comfortable atmosphere. On top of all that this, the unit’s design was built for stability in those tough thunderstorms. We have been in the trailer for some really high winds a few times.
12 different places light comes
There are 12 different places light comes in to light the trailer. We have enjoyed lots of lighting in the Lance 2295 Travel Trailer. There are four sky lights (including the two fans). We have seven windows. Four of those windows open to let air and the breeze in when needed. Then there is the one door window and the screen door that we use quite often to enjoy a breeze or for lighting. We also have the tools to make it dark in the unit when we need it. We have the insulated sky light covers that snaps on and there are two-way shades where we can just shade the window or darken the window. There are lights installed everywhere too. The one I love the most is the one above the dinning table that has a dimmer switch. I also like the little lights on each side of the bed for personalized reading light at night. We love all the options to make the lighting just the way we want it.
Fireplace is magically romantic and warm
The fireplace is what really caught my husband’s eye. He has always enjoyed a fireplace. Just the look and romance of the fireplace glowing is soothing. When he saw the fireplace in the layout of the unit he immediately liked the unit!
Outdoor kitchen is awesome
While we would have never chosen the outdoor kitchen had it been an option, I am so glad it was an automatic part of the Lance 2295 Travel Trailer. We have thoroughly enjoyed the outside kitchen for cooking and just simply being able to wash hands while enjoying the outdoors. It has been a great place to utilize the Instant Pot too.
Not too big and not too small
We wanted space but not too much. As we looked for comfort and convenience, we wanted not too big and not too small. The bedroom has a queen size bed and lots of space and storage. The bathroom is just the right size and includes a nice size shower and a wardrobe for clothes and linens. The spacious living and kitchen area have a super slide-out dinette to enjoy. Just outside under the awning, we can enjoy the outdoors and have our slide-out exterior kitchen with 2-burner stove, sink, overhead storage and countertop extension. We have found just enough space to have a great time as we camp and travel.
The ease of set up
Setting up for camp is a breeze. We have developed a routine to set up. The ease of set up compared to what we had previously is amazing! We simply back in or pull in to the pull-through site, then check for level, adjust for blocks, and set the chocks. Mark then hooks up the surge suppressor then the electric. Depending on time of year, I then go in and check the AC or heat. Then we together as a team begin to unhitch. I usually handle the keys and hitch locks while Mark takes care of setting the hitch and detaching from the truck.
Next he begins the process of setting the stabilizer jacks with the the push of a few buttons. Once the jacks are set, I push the button for the “super slide out” and begin our inside set up which is minimal. Mark proceeds to finish outside. If we plan to stay for awhile, he will take care of the water and sewer set up. If we are just staying a night or two, we may not worry about the water hook-up or sewer at that stop, so we can just relax. Easy set up takes maybe 30 minutes.
Front bed window relaxing view
One of our favorite relaxing places within the camper is the front bed window view. Relaxing at night watching the stars or the moonlight out that window is amazing. Waking up to the birds flying and chirping above makes a gorgeous view. Even our little pups love that window.
We absolutely love our Lance 2295 Travel Trailer. We are looking forward to many fun travel adventures in our future. See you out there!

Great review!
Would the 2295 be suitable for 3-4 adults? Wife and I do all of traveling and camping with our 17yo son who has Autism. On some occasions, our second adult son will join us. 80% of time it’s the three of us.
Thanks!

As long as you don’t mind taking the table up and down. It is a queen size. We periodically have one of our kids with their family with us and it works fine for us. We do usually have a tent with us just in case we need more space for a long stay.

Hello! We are going back to a local dealer in the morning to buy our Lance 2295. I’m so excited! I went looking to see what owners were saying and your site was the first to come up. Thanks for listing all the things you love about the Lance!
